When looking at the (33-3-1) record of Martin Murray, you would think he is more experienced that the (23-3) George Groves, but it is Groves that has boxed more rounds against world class fighters.
But, what Martin Murray has proved is that he is as tough as they come, being able to last 11 rounds with GGG, the longest of any opponent.
Much talk has been made of a sparring session involving Groves and GGG in which Groves took the worst of it and suffered a cracked rib. Murray has been making a big deal over this, but the problem is that Murray punches nowhere near as hard as Golovkin does.
So, while Murray might be a tough customer and is unlikely to fold with so much pride on the line, he is going to get out-boxed by Groves who will have too many tricks in the bag on this day.
Prediction: George Groves by Decision at (+100) odds.
