Crawford Stops Indongo, Unifies Super-Lightweight Title

Terence Crawford unified the super-lightweight world title with an impressive stoppage of Julius Indongo that came by way of a brutal body punch in the 3rd round.

Crawford opened the fight as a southpaw to mirror his opponent, and proved to be master of both stances as he looked sharp from the outset.

Early on, Crawford began landing to body, and it was a right hand downstairs that set up a left hand to the head which knocked Indongo down in Round 2. Then, in Round 3, Indongo failed to get up after being dropped to the canvas with a left hook to the midsection that could be heard ringside.

In the post fight interview, Crawford announced a move up to 147lbs and expressed his intent to face the winner of Pacquiao vs Horn rematch, as both fighters also under the Top Rank Promotions banner.

The win was the easiest in some time for Crawford, and although he was the large (-1600) betting favorite at Bovada, however he was only (-150) to beat the undefeated Julius Indongo by knockout.
