Russian boxer Rakhim Chakhkiev who is famous for his unibrow suffered an 8th round knockout in his own backyard at the hands of “Diablo” Krzysztof Włodarczyk. The boxing bookies had Rakhim Chakhkiev as a 3 to 1 favorite.
The Polish champion Krzysztof Włodarczyk weathered and early onslaught that saw him get dropped in the 3rd round en route to a remarkable comeback victory. Włodarczyk was trailing on all three judge’s scorecards when Chakhkiev seemed to slow down, almost as if he punched himself out after his early attack didn’t finish the Polish fighter.
The big momentum swing came at the end of the 6th round when Włodarczyk caught Chakhkiev with a sneaky left hook that dropped the Russian and cut him. He would score three more knockdowns in the fight, including sending Chakhkiev crashing to the canvas face first in the 8th, which promoted the ref to end the fight.
